It is a gorgeous day in Daytona Beach. We've had evenings, we've been racing in the 40s, the tires were giving off sparks. But, it's the warmest day of the month here, 75 degrees.

But, not only is it abrasive, it's rough too!

Phil Parsons talking about the racing surface at Rockingham Speedway during the Truck Series race at lap 42 on SPEED. What he meant is the surface is abrasive creating tire wear and bumpy making it hard for the tires to grip the abrasive surface. This, by the way, isn't a bad thing as it adds character to the track and puts more of the race on the driver to show their abilities.

I didn’t know if we had enough straight road in North Carolina to get going that quick, but apparently there is a piece somewhere.

Dale Jr. commented on Kyle Busch getting caught going 128 MPH in a 45 MPH zone in Iredell County, North Carolina.
